Some of Baltimore's business leaders spent Tuesday at Paul's Place for a leadership day of service.
Paul's Place on Ward Street in west Baltimore has programs like hot lunch, case management and eviction prevention for needy residents.
Bill McLennan, executive director of Paul's Place, said meeting could help businesses develop a better relationship with the community.
"It provides incentives for staff of the corporations; it helps them get involved in the community. And for Paul's Place, it help builds that corporate relationship where we can share expertise and help us grow our business," McLennan said.
The leaders also discussed how to create more volunteer opportunities in Baltimore.
