BPD releases video in murder of deli worker killed in front of children

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore Police on Thursday released surveillance video of two suspects believed to be involved in the December 22 murder of Carmen Rodriguez.

The 36-year-old mother of four was shot and killed in front of her young children while working at her family's deli in the 100 block of N. Kenwood Avenue in East Baltimore.

In the video, a dark colored Honda is seen pulling up outside the store.

A man gets out of the drivers seat and goes into the store and leaves a short time later.

Later a masked man wearing all dark clothing is seen getting out of the passenger side of the same vehicle.

Cameras catch him going inside the store, then to the counter where he aggressively reaches over and points a handgun.

The video ends with the suspect getting back into the passenger side of the Honda and taking off.

The ATF is offering $5000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
