BALTIMORE — A Baltimore Police officer driving a marked patrol unit was involved in an accident with two other cars Tuesday morning in Charles Village.
A WMAR-2 News photographer came upon the crash scene at Charles Street and 28th Street shortly after 11 a.m. Two officers at the scene said another officer who was driving the police car was taken to the hospital with lacerations to the head.

A spokesperson for the Baltimore Police confirmed the accident occurred and said all three drivers were taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Further information about the crash or the status of the people involved was not available.
