BPD officer responding to bank robbery near UMB gets into car crash

BALTIMORE — A Baltimore Police officer that was dispatched to the scene of a robbery near University of Maryland was involved in a car accident, police say.

The crash happened on Monday afternoon at the intersection of Howard and Fayette Streets.

WMAR-2 News is at the scene and it was reported that the Light Rail near the incident was not involved.

It is unknown if any injuries were reported.
