Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis got a letter from a 12-year-old boy recently, praising the department for its work in the community.
“One day when I grow up, I want to be a police officer just like y’all,” Camren Gough, a student at the Maryland Academy of Technology and Health Sciences, wrote.

“I just want to thank you for all you do and keeping your men together you and everyone else always let me know not all cops are bad,” Gough wrote.
Davis responded Monday, saying he was “very proud” of Camren.
“I would like to meet you someday,” he wrote. “Keep being a good student at school, and a good person in your community!”
