BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A body was found in the water in South Baltimore's Westport neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.
Baltimore Police say the body was recovered around 3 p.m. in the 1800 block of Annapolis Road.
The body was found in the same block as the Wheelabrator Baltimore incinerator which is also near the Horseshoe Casino.
Police have not identified the body and have not indicated if there were any signs of trauma.
An autopsy will be performed by the Medical Examiner which will determine the cause of death.
