BALTIMORE — Pennsylvania Avenue is full of life and music as the Billie Holiday Arts and Music Festival is underway in West Baltimore.

It kicked off with a re-dedication ceremony for a statue that commemorates the life and legacy of the famed "Lady Day" who was born as Eleanora Fagan in Baltimore in 1915.

The statue was created by local sculptor James Earl Reid.

If you're looking to go to the festival tonight, you can catch the film "Lady Sings the Blues" at the Billie Holiday Performance Stage at 7:30 p.m.

The Cadillac and Auto Parade will be Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
