Bike Share Baltimore set to launch in the fall

Baltimore City is aiming to get more people on bikes. 

The Department of Transportation held a public meeting at the War Memorial Tuesday night to give residents a chance to learn more about the program.

Phase I of the city's program will include 30 Bike Share stations and 500 bicycles, which is set to launch in the fall. By next spring, 50 stations will be posted, with 465 bikes in total.

Another Bike share meeting is schedule for Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at MICA, Brown 320, 1300 W Mount Royal Avenue.
