We usually hear her name at Thanksgiving, but the Bea Gaddy Family Center helps people all year long.
Thursday, the center hosted its annual children's Christmas party.
They began hosting the event back in 1983 when Bea Gaddy handed out presents to kids in her neighborhood.
Since that time the family has helped thousands of kids in Baltimore have a nice holiday.
The Christmas Eve event took place at the Patterson Park Recreation Center -- the same place the Thanksgiving dinner is served.
