BALTIMORE — BARCS is in need of the public's help saving a dog's life.
Layla was found standing in an alleyway tethered to a cord that led her to her backyard. She was extremely neglected and her collar was so deeply embedded into her neck that it was threatening her life.
Layla was sent to a hospital for emergency care and surgery. BARCS needs donations to pay for her surgery and ongoing medical needs. Donations exceeding the cost of Layla's medical bills will help other animals currently under the care of the Franky Fund.
There is an open investigation for the case, if you have any information about Layla, you're asked to call 311.
