BALTIMORE, Md. — The War Memorial building was filled with teenagers looking for summer jobs through YouthWorks.

Mayor Jack Young says there are 11,000 kids who want jobs and only 7,000 positions. His goal is to get a job for everyone, which would mean less time on the streets and more time working.

"We cant really employ all kids unless we get help from our partners. I'm asking those partners right now to step up to the plate and help us," said Mayor Young.

YouthWorks operates from July 1 until August 2.
