The Baltimore State's Attorney's Office has been awarded more than $2.3 million in grant money to go toward supporting victims of crime in the city.
The money will go toward funding the family bereavement center and juvenile victim witness unit as well as new projects.
Those new projects include new advocates for the victim/witness units in circuit and district court, witness coordinators, access to the language line, training, parking and other facility updates.
The total two-year grant budget is for $2,381,124.
