BALTIMORE — Music filled the city Friday at 40 different locations.

Students at Baltimore School for the Arts held 40 surprise pop-up concerts in celebration of the school's 40th anniversary.

The performances, Under the name #40for40, were all five to seven minutes long and included the work of a wide verity of classical composers.

The music ensembles were not alone. Each team had a visual arts student to create a temporary piece of artwork at the site.
