Baltimore residents speak out at policing community forum

Posted

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Police Commissioner Kevin Davis hosted the Baltimore Policing Community Forum Thursday.

Inner city residents gathered to discuss ways to improve the relationship between city police and the community.

The forum took place at the War Memorial Building downtown.

Mayor Rawlings-Blake recently asked the state for more than $30 million to improve officer training.

The Department of Justice released a report that revealed patterns of civil rights violations by Baltimore City police officers in August.
