City residents are calling for a weekend ceasefire in Baltimore, as this year's homicide rate approaches 200 people killed.

The message is simple: "Nobody kill anybody" for 72 hours.

Organizers are asking for no violence in Baltimore during the first weekend in August, Aug. 4-6, and they're using social media to spread their cause.

During peace week, organizers will collect money for any family that loses someone to violence during the first weekend in August.

If they reach their goal and no one is killed, the money will then go to the first family that loses someone to violence after the weekend.

According to organizers, hundreds have already made the pledge for no violence.
