City plans to pay $187K for cameras in BPD vans

Baltimore City is planning to pay a Florida company $187,000 to install video cameras in all Baltimore Police vans.

The city board of estimates is set to approve the contract Wednesday.

The cameras will be installed in all 23 of the department's vans. The cost is in addition to the $200,000 in equipment installed in police vans to improve detainee safety.
