Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh made a special appearance on Steve Harvey's daytime talk show.
Pugh flew to Los Angeles Sunday to thank Harvey for sending 12 girls from Baltimore to a weekend mentoring program in Atlanta,Georgia.
The program is called "Girls Who Rule the World." It prepares young women to be leaders in their communities and it's run by Harvey's wife Marjorie.
During the visit, Pugh surprised Harvey with an official mayoral salute.
Harvey plans to bring his summer camp to Baltimore in 2019 with a separate program for boys and girls.
