A busy weekend in Baltimore will have motorists needing to adjust their routes if they want to avoid lengthy delays.

The Baltimore Pride Parade goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Streets will be closed along the parade route, which runs from Wyman Park Drive to Art Museum Drive, to N. Charles Street, then heads down N. Charles Street from 33rd Street to 23rd Street. Road closures begin at 12:45 p.m.

After the parade, the Baltimore Pride Block Party will close the following blocks from 5 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday: Charles Street between North Avenue and 23rd Street, 20th Street between Maryland Avenue and St. Paul Street, 21st Street between Maryland Avenue and St. Paul Street, and 22nd Street between Maryland Avenue and St. Paul Street.

The grand opening of One West Mt. Vernon Place will cause closures from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 12 a.m. Sunday for N. Charles Street from Centre Steet to Mt. Vernon Place, and W. Mt. Vernon Place from N. Charles Street to Cathedral Street.

Conduit work will close the exit ramp from the Jones Falls Expressway to Northern Parkway on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Detours will be in effect.

Paving work will temporarily close the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Fulton Avenue on Sunday from 7 a.m. until around 4 p.m.

In all cases, motorists are advised to avoid the areas and expect delays.
