Baltimore has some of the worst drivers in the country. Second worst, according to Allstate. The insurance company found the only city with worse drivers was Boston.
Allstate looked at how likely drivers were to get into an accident, and the average number of years between collisions. It found Baltimore drivers on average had 4.2 years between accidents, and the likelihood of getting into a crash in Baltimore was 140.6 percent higher than the national average.
Out of 200 metropolitan areas in the U.S. the safest drivers were in Kansas City, KS. There drivers go on average nearly 15 years between collisions, and are 32.8 percent less likely to get into a wreck that the national average.
Washington, D.C. drivers were ranked the fourth worst. You can see Allstate's full report and rankings here.
