Baltimore city has won a lawsuit against the U.S. Health Department concerning funding to prevent teen pregnancy.

A federal judge has ordered the Trump Administration to continue funding for organizations that receive grants from the teen pregnancy prevention program.

The city's health department was told last July the grant would be terminated early, cutting about $3.5 million in funding for things like birth control and health education.

City Health Commissioner, Dr. Leana Wen says the cut was "shocking" and "unprecedented". She plans to respond to the latest court ruling Thursday afternoon.
