It's an end of an era.

The final copy of the weekly Baltimore City Paper hit stands Wednesday.

After 40-years, the paper is going out of business because its owner says the paper doesn't make enough money.

But don't worry, there is a new weekly newspaper coming to the city.

The Baltimore Beat will debut Nov. 15.

The new paper will include headline news, art, and information about the social scene in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Beat is owned by the same person who publishes the Washington Blade.

The paper will be available at gas stations, grocery stores, and cafes.
