The Baltimore City Fire Department received equipment Tuesday that will help firefighters save pets rescued from fires.

The Invisible Fence Brand of Baltimore donated 39 Emergency Pet Oxygen Mask Kits to the department to treat dogs, cats and small pets with smoke inhalation.

The kits contain three masks designed to fit any muzzle size, tubing to attachment the mask to resuscitation bags and oxygen tanks, and training materials.

Invisible Fence Brand's "Project Breathe" campaign made the donation possible. Its mission is to provide one kit to every firehouse in the U.S. and Canada. More than 100 kits were given to fire departments in Maryland, according to Invisible Fence Brand of Baltimore dealership.
