Baltimore City Council condemns Trump's statements

The 72nd Baltimore City Council was sworn in Thursday, and their first official act was a vote to condemn statements made by President-elect Donald Trump.

Councilman Ryan Dorsey introduced the resolution saying he wanted to affirm Baltimore’s values by opposing what he called Trump’s divisive rhetoric "rooted in hate and prejudice."

The president-elect hasn’t yet responded to the resolution.
