Baltimore City contractor injured after incident at Druid Park Lake

BALTIMORE — A Baltimore City contractor was taken to Shock Trauma after an incident that occurred at DPW’s Druid Park Lake Underground Tank Project.

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark issued the following statement saying in part:

"We are saddened to announce that a contractor was injured in an incident that occurred at DPW’s Druid Park Lake Underground Tank Project on February 17, 2020. At this site, DPW is covering a considerable portion of Druid Lake and installing two underground water tanks."

The injured worker was taken to the Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
