BALTIMORE, Md — Baltimore is launching a new initiative called Spring Break Bmore.

The campaign is to help children explore, learn, and have fun during spring break.

All of the Enoch Pratt Free Library locations and 42 of the 43 area recreation centers will host special activities for kids. This way kids all over the city will have plenty to do while they're off from school.

"It is so important for our young people to know that learning does not only take place in classrooms, but actually Baltimore itself is it's own classroom," said Dr. Sonja Santelises, CEO of Baltimore City Public Schools. "Being out at some of our public institutions, we have some of the finest institutions and cultural venues frankly, anywhere."

Spring Break Bmore runs from April 13 through April 22.
