Baltimore church gets a food pantry make-over courtesy of Food Lion Corp.

BALTIMORE,Md. (WMAR) - The Soul Harvest Church and Ministries, founders of The Harvest Emergency Food Distribution Center was granted a pantry make-over by the corporate offices of the Food Lion Corporation.

According to Head Pastor Merrill Griffin, the corporation will install new freezer space and refrigeration, they will also paint and renovate their food pantry in any way possible to help fight hunger in Baltimore.

The Harvest Emergency Food Distribution is known for its partnerships with various organizations such as the Department of Social Services, The Maryland Food Bank, the USDA and more.
