BALTIMORE — Every time you drive into Baltimore on President Street you see kids trying to make a buck by washing windows.

With recent news reports of violence, many have a negative view about those squeegee kids and the city.

So, a few business owners are hoping to change that perception. They're taking the spirit of Valentine's Day to spread love.

They met on President Street Tuesday morning to give candy, flowers and share the message that Baltimore is a city to love.

"You get people who are cynical about their approach to the city and we're just making them love it a little bit more. It's been really nice."

The business owners will be out every morning greeting drivers coming into the city for the rest of the week.
