The Baltimore 10-miler benefits multiple organizations:
- Athletes Serving Athletes: This non-profit organization gives training and mentor relationships to those living with disabilities. Their WINGMAN program is designed to empower athletes with little or no mobility, but whose hearts hold the desire to race in running events.
- Back on My Feet: This organization combats homelessness through the power of running, community support, and essential employment and housing resources. They aim to use running to create self-sufficiency for those experiencing homelessness.
- Signal 13: Their mission is to help give financial assistance to Baltimore Police Department personnel, both civilian and sworn, who suffer extreme personal emergencies.
- Soccer Without Borders: This organization works with newcomer youth in Baltimore and Prince George's County using soccer as a positive change. SWB offers academic support, college access preparation, mentoring, and leadership opportunities.
The race takes place at a challenging course starting and finishing at Druid Hill Park. The course travels along the North side of town to Lake Montebello.
