Amazon held its first-ever Amazon Jobs Day on Wednesday to help fill more than 50,000 positions at fulfillment facilities across the country.
The company plans to hire more than 1,200 employees in Maryland.

The job fair was held at Baltimore’s Fulfillment Center at 2010 Broening Highway from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with informational sessions, candidate tours and onsite applications.
Amazon said it plans to make job offers on the spot.
