Amazon made a surprise donation of school supplies at Holabird Academy Thursday.
The Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake joined representatives from the company to deliver thousands of dollars in school supplies to support learning in the classroom.
Amazon delivered $10,000 worth of school supplies so that teachers and students can be prepared for the school year.
The company will also make a donation to Reading Partners, a program that helps students learn basic reading in low-income schools.
