Baltimore was bracing for the worst Wednesday after the announcement of a mistrial in the trial of Officer William Porter.
Helicopters watched from above at the intersection of Pennsylvania and North Avenues. Police officers were on the ground standing by.
After Officer Porter's trial ended in a hung jury, people took to the streets demanding change. Groups said it was a miscarriage of justice.
For the third night in a row clergy, police, activists and residents of Sandtown linked arms and prayed. Their mission is to come together in unity to spread love and bring hope to the people who are hurting in this area.
