FACES is an annual event that showcases a gallery of unique artwork created by children and youth at The Children’s Home.
According to their website, The Children’s Homefocuses on innovative programs and services that help at-risk youth both inside and outside the home, offering a variety of mental health services to address the effects of childhood trauma.
This year's theme is called Glitz & Gloss, where young people at the home share their hopes and dreams for the future through many mediums of art with an emphasis on photography. Their one-of-kind artwork will then be auctioned off. Other activities include music, food, dancing, and interactive art tables. All the proceeds from FACES 2017 support programs and services for at-risk children, youth, and families.
