Bubbles, the 2-year-old Neapolitan Mastif mix abandoned in Baltimore with a humongous tumor, is recovering nicely.

"Her transformation has been nothing short of Miraculous,” reads a statement from the Noah’s Arks Rescue website.

Bubbles was found by a Good Samaritan and eventually found herself in the care of the South Carolina rescue shelter for dogs who need emergency medical care.

After a fairly extensive surgical procedure, all that remains of the giant tumor are a scars and swelling.

“You can't see her left ear in the picture but it is there tucked behind her head,” the statement reads. “She has amazed us every step of the way.  No matter what obstacle comes her way, she takes it head on with more determination than any other animal we have had.  She must have known deep down inside that we were out there somewhere just waiting for her to arrive.”

Bubbles wouldn't be the first Baltimore dog saved by Noah's Arks. In March, the rescue shelter took in  Freckles -- an abused pit bull that was found in Middle River .

This is what  Freckles looked like after her stint in Noah's Arks . Freckles was  ready for adoption by July.
