A Baltimore fixture for nearly 100 years is receiving special honors.

On Monday, Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot will be presenting a proclamation to "The Dizz."

The historic Bar and Restaurant on W. 30th Street has been serving the local community since the 1930's.

Throughout the years the establishment has undergone several name changes including, Mitchell's, Stu's Lounge, Tony's Place, Igor's, Buckley's and Dizzy Issie's.

Yet, Baltimore residents could always count on a place to unwind for happy hour to go with a good burger or club sandwich, all for which they're known.
