A 48-year-old woman was killed in a house fire Saturday.
Fire crews were called to a home on the 3000 block of Kenyon Avenue for a heavy fire on the first floor of a two-story building.
Once the fire was contained, authorities conducted a search of the building and found the victim, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
