Between 80 and 100 cars were involved in a fire at a junk yard in Baltimore City Sunday.
Around 3 p.m. Baltimore City firefighters were called to the Eastside Auto Recycling junk yard at 4725 Erdman Avenue. When they arrived, firefighters discovered fire and smoke coming from several cars.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading any further, in spite of heavy wind conditions.
There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
