They call it Snowtorious B.I.G.

A steam-heated Dumpster at M&T Stadium is melting up to 20 tons of snow an hour, and workers have given it that nickname.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says more than 4 million pounds of snow have been removed from Baltimore streets since the blizzard last weekend.

Half of it is at Pimlico Race Course, while the rest is at the stadium parking lots.

"What we don't want to lose sight of is that in 67 days, we play baseball. In 67 days, we're going to fill this lot with Opening Day fans. So, this lot will be clear in 67 days," said Jeff Provenzano, vice president of operations of the Maryland Stadium Authority.
