BALTIMORE (AP) - Three men have been charged with plotting to distribute narcotics when 90 pounds of suspected heroin were seized at a truck stop.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Maryland said in a statement that the men were arrested Wednesday. Authorities say the three were moving 90 pounds (41 kilograms) of suspected heroin from a truck to a van.
Fifty-three-year-old Perry Brown of Baltimore; 34-year-old Juan Olvera Morales of St. Anthony, Idaho; and 41-year-old Alfredo Manuel Nevares of West Valley, Utah, are charged in a criminal complaint with conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.
