For National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hyundai Hope has launched a new public awareness campaign.

The 'Every Handprint Tells a Story' campaign is part of Hyundai's Hope on Wheels, which started 19 years ago. Through Hope on Wheels, over $130 million in grants have been given to researchers to support childhood cancer research.

On Wednesday, Hyundai presented Dr. Brian Ladle and Dr. Kenneth Cooke with grants.

Dr. Ladle received a 2017 Young Investigator Award for $150,000 to support his research on growing immunotherapy when combined with standard chemotherapy to treat osteosarcoma.

Dr. Cooke received a 2017 Scholar Grant for $250,000 to support his research on improving outcomes after BMT for children with cancer.
