BALTIMORE — Police say they arrested a 17-year-old driver caught in a stolen vehicle.
On Saturday, around 11:00am, a policeman was on patrol in the 4700 block of Old York Road. The officer was alerted by his License Plate Reader (LPR) technology that a stolen vehicle was nearby.
The Cop found a Jeep Cherokee that had been reported stolen during a carjacking on Christmas on Yorkwood Road.
Police tried to stop the truck but the driver of the Jeep refused. The Jeep then crashed in the 4300 block of Old York Road.
The 17-year old driver of the Jeep then ran from the scene.
He was caught and arrested a short time later.
