The 108th NAACP National Convention starts on Saturday.
It will run through Wednesday, July 26 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
According to NAACP Vice President of Communication and Digital Media Aba Blankson, more than 8,000 people will attend the convention. They will take part in workshops on criminal justice, education, health and voting rights.
The White House said President Donald Trump declined an invitation to speak at the convention.

The NAACP is the nation's oldest civil rights organization. Its headquarters is in Baltimore.
