A house fire broke out in the 2800 block of Clifton Avenue early Wednesday morning.

Fire crews were dispatched at approximately 1:40 a.m. When they arrived, they found a two-story row home with heavy fire coming from the rear of the first floor.

Officials say firefighters were able to make a quick entry and the fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes.

One resident was injured in the fire and taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. One family has been displaced.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
