GLEN BURNIE, Md. — These volunteers are making life a little easier for an amazing young girl.

Violet has a rare genetic disorder that affects her brain and her ability to get around.

So "Chair the Hope" is giving her home a mobility makeover that will help her, and her family get from the car to their home safely and make it more handicap accessible.

"We have to bring an entrance to the back of the home because she lives on the upper level everything, she needs access to is her. So, we are going to bring a sidewalk up and then a deck in the back so she can access the back and have a play space. Give her and adventure that she can at least live out, give her strength, a new world of experience out here," said Chesla Heidi.

Chair the Hope said they're always welcoming donations and if you aren't able to donate right now, they can never have too many volunteers.
