MILLERSVILLE, Md. — A 49-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in Baltimore after the car they were riding in left the roadway and rolled down an embankment in Pasadena, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded to a reported crash at about 9:17 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Route 100 East and Route 10 North. Initial reports indicated two people were trapped in a vehicle.

Firefighters said a car was driving on Route 100 when it left the road way and rolled down an embankment several times, finally resting on its roof. The two men who were traveling in the vehicle were able to extricate themselves prior to the arrival of the fire department. The men were taken to Shock Trauma for treatment but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
