ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Annapolis Police are investigating a shooting in the city's Eastport neighborhood.
According to the department, officers were called to the 1100 block of Medgar Evers Street, after being notified about the shooting.
There, they found 21-year-old Anthony Johnson and 26-year-old Jaymar Howard with non-life threatening injuries.
On April 14, Annapolis Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Jariq Downs.
Downs was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder and ten other criminal charges related to the crime. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
