HANOVER, Md. — Two people are dead following a rollover crash late Friday night in Anne Arundel County.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. in the area of Route 100 and Route 295 in Hanover.

Fire crews responded after receiving multiple 911 reports of a vehicle flipping off of Route 295 and onto Route 100.

Arriving firefighters found a severely damaged vehicle on its roof in the westbound lanes of Route 100.

According to Anne Arundel County Fire Spokesman Russ Davies, the occupants, a man and a woman in their 50s, were trapped inside and pronounced dead after crews removed them from the car.
