Two alarm fire in Annapolis displaces family of three

A two alarm fire in Annapolis has displaced a family of three.

A call came out around 9:40 p.m. Friday for a fire in the 600 block of Cutter Court. Annapolis Fire Department responded to the residence with assistance from the Anne Arundel and U.S. Naval Academy Fire Departments.

Once on the scene, units found the fire on the second floor with an extension to the attic.

A second alarm was called as a precaution.

 Fire officials say the fire was under control by 10:08 p.m.

There was a minor injury but that person was treated on scene and did not require medical treatment. There were no fire department injuries.

Red Cross has been notified for placement of two adults and one child.

 The cause of the fire and estimated damages have not been determined yet.
