Crews from Anne Arundel County and Calvert County are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash that led to three children getting trapped in a vehicle.
According to officials, crews were called to the scene of the crash that happened on Route 4 around 4:46 p.m.
At the scene, they found the children trapped in the car. Luckily, they were able to get all them out of the vehicle.
Officials say all of the children were transported to an area hospital. The 8-year-old boy is suffering from possible life-threatening injuries and the 14-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver in the car with the children refused treatment at the scene as well as the driver of the other car.
