Flights were delayed at BWI Airport Friday evening while authorities investigated suspicious bags at an adjacent parking garage.
BWI Spokesman Jonathan Dean said the daily garage was temporarily closed around 5:15 p.m. to investigate unattendend bags left on the 8th level of the garage. Authorities determined the bags were not hazardous and the garage reopened at 6:30 pm.
Flights were temporarily delayed while the investigation took place.
