GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Two suspects are wanted after police say a liquor store was robbed and a Royal Farms was almost robbed in Glen Burnie within the last week.

An attempted robbery happened last Thursday around 11:30 p.m. at the Royal Farms at 7201 B&A Boulevard. Police say an unknown man walked into the store, displayed an edged weapon, and demanded money from the register. The clerk refused to give the money and the suspect ran away.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect. He is described as a black man around 20 to 30 years old, 5'10", with a thin build.

On Sunday just after 7 p.m. at 5th Avenue Liquors at 508 Crain Highway, police say an unknown man walked into the store implying he had a weapon and demanded money from the register. In this instance, the clerk complied and the man ran away with the money.
